Want to obtain your VCA certificate online? If you do the Basic VCA (or B-VCA) self-study course via e-learning, you will prepare yourself online for the official Basic Safety VCA exam. The course covers all the important topics you need to know to work safely in high-risk environments and to pass the exam. How does e-learning work? E-learning can be done independently, at home or wherever you want. And at your own pace. After completing the e-learning course, you can register for the official Basic VCA exam (usually 40 multiple-choice questions). When you take the Basic VCA e-learning self-study course, you'll learn about relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and your responsibilities in this area (HSE). You will also learn about preparing for work, such as working safely, consultation and inspections before carrying out work. Part of this involves recognising risks in order to prevent accidents (LMRA) by taking timely measures. Another important topic is working safely with work equipment in the workplace. This includes using the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety helmets, gloves, face masks, etc. Every workplace has specific conditions that can pose risks. This topic is also covered. Examples include recognising hazardous substances or risks from electrical radiation. Risks of fire and explosion are also mentioned, as well as what to do in the event of accidents and emergencies.
